The standard ticket will give access to the show and the opportunity to purchase merch for all three bands. The VIP upgrade additionally includes seating close to the stage and a meet and greet session with SPG after their performance. See further details further down the page.

Steam Powered Giraffe last played Weekend at the Asylum in 2018 which was also the last time they played anywhere in Europe. Since this will be their first time back in seven years, we know this gig is going to be very very popular.

More than just a band, Steam Powered Giraffe is a musical act that combines robot pantomime, comedy, and dance with harmony-filled music for an experience unlike anything you’ve seen before! Join Rabbit, Zer0, The Spine, Chelsea, Camille, Lacey, and Davey for a 2 hour concert full of toe-tapping songs from 16 years of the band's harmony-filled repertoire.

VIP upgrade
We are delighted that Steam Powered Giraffe have also agreed to offer the same VIP experience that they offer for their shows in the USA. There will be a limited number of 'VIP upgrades' available for this show that will give you seating in the central portion of the first three rows, closest to the stage, and also let you meet Steam Powered Giraffe after the show!

The VIP meet-and-greet line after the show will go through the Steam Powered Giraffe merch table and then onto the band where VIPs will be able to chat briefly with them, get autographs, and take a photo. There will be someone on hand that can take a photo for you with your own phone/camera, or you can also take a selfie.
Non-VIP ticket holders can still queue up in a "just merch" line after the show to purchase SPG merchandise, including pre-signed autographed photos/show posters, but only those with a 'VIP upgrade' will be able to take part in the Meet & Greet session with Steam Powered Giraffe.

If you are unable to obtain a VIP upgrade for Time Travellers there will be other opportunities for wristband holders to see the band over the weekend. Full details will be released once the daytime schedule is known, but opportunities are likely to include a Q&A session (wristband only required), a tea party (separate ticket required) and another meet and greet session (separate ticket required).

Please remember that you will not gain access to Time Travellers if you only purchase a 'VIP upgrade'. You can only use the upgrade in combination with a standard ticket to Time Travellers.

You do not need to have a wristband to buy a VIP upgrade.

Discount tickets for wristband holders
If you have a festival wristband and wish to attend Airship Pirates Ahoy! on Friday night and Time Travellers on Sunday night you can buy a 'Celebration Bundle' of both standard tickets for £70. To gain entry using these tickets you will need to show either your weekend wristband on both days or else a Friday wristband for Airship Pirates Ahoy! and a Sunday wristband for Time travellers.

These discounted tickets can be used together with a VIP upgrade.
Opening Time Travellers at AXV will be the wonderful Thomas Benjamin Wild Esq. You can expect a mixture of wit, charm and fabulous songs.
There will possibly be a little satire but we can neither confirm nor deny whether there will be any four letter words.
​Tom performed at Time Travellers in 2023 and at DecoDance in 2024 and we are delighted he has agreed to return to open Time Travellers at AXV.
Also appearing at Time travellers will be the incomparable Victor and the Bully.
No strangers to The Engine Shed, Victor and the Bully have been one of the most popular bands at Asylum for a number of years.
Their music is infectious, their energy extraordinary, their professionalism and timing impeccable. They are guaranteed to put on a show like no other.

Taking place this year at the County Assembly Rooms, there will be a single performance split into two halves, with each artst performing twice. BAMBI BANG BANG
Our hilarious, resident compere Bambi Bang Bang will be back again this year, with, well – a bang!! Yes, the incomparable Bambi Bang Bang will return as burlesque show host extraordinaire!
She’s an elegant glamazon with a sultry, smoky voice, but don’t be fooled by her bubblegum smile and silver-screen charms!
Grab a drink, get comfortable and prepare for a sexy, silly and quite frankly hilarious ride with this singing sensation and her raunchy sense of humour!
OOLA PEARL
Brand new to this year’s cast is the award-winning Welsh wonder and cabaret chameleon Oola Pearl! A much sought-after talent on the cabaret circuit, she delights audiences across the UK with her mischief and mayhem!
A dynamic fusion of class, clownery, and unbridled charisma, Oola combines a knack for storytelling with a healthy dose of mischief. DEMI NOIRE
We are beyond delighted to have the one and only soul sister of burlesque, Demi Noire gracing our stage this year. Demi has appeared 3 times in the 21st Century Burlesque Magazine’s top 50 most influential burlesque artistes worldwide, and brings sexy, funny, and powerful characters to the world of burlesque and cabaret.
Amongst many productions, Demi is a frequent performer for the House of Burlesque, The Cocoabutter Club, Gin House burlesque and the UK’s longest running burlesque tour ‘Evening of Burlesque’. THE MAGIC BALL MAN
A firm favourite at our burlesque show and back this year by popular demand, The Magic Ball Man is an internationally celebrated contact juggler and flow artist. He has amazed audiences around the world with his truly jaw-dropping skill and artistry.

RAVEN NOIR
Adored by steampunk audiences across the land, Raven Noir is an internationally acclaimed burlesque star known for her tantalising, intoxicating and dark yet playful stage presence.
Producer of the legendary, and internationally acclaimed ‘Burlesque Noir’ in Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Raven has travelled the globe with her unique brand of burlesque.

ODELIA OPIUM

A regular favourite and darling of the burlesque show, Odelia Opium is the intoxicating time traveller of burlesque. Inspired by the Jazz Age, Weimar Cabaret, the Ziegfeld Follies, the opulence of the Victorian era and 18th century pop culture, in true steampunk style, she will never fail to take you on a sensual journey into the past!

JAMIE DOUBLE

Also new to our burlesque show this year is Jamie Double, the circus performer they never imagined they could become!
Whilst living by the sea, an unexpected twist of fate led them into the world of circus arts. Acting on a whim, Jamie enrolled in circus school and immediately fell in love with the craft.
Along the way, they discovered hidden talents and new facets of themselves, ultimately evolving into the performer you see before you today. Jamie will bring to the stage death defying aerial hand-balancing and some vintage strongman madness!
SCARLET BUTTERFLY

And last, but definitely not least, Scarlet Butterfly, a much loved performer on the UK steampunk scene and producer of the burlesque show will be bringing you her amazing world of aerial artistry!
Scarlet is known for her theatrical, cirque style lyrapole performances. Her acts are visually stunning combining breath-taking aerial skills with exquisite, glamorous, fantasy inspired costuming.
