For DecoDance at AXV we are returning to the venue where it all began, the County Assembly Rooms, where we will have a stellar all-female line-up of the most brilliant artists.

Opening the show and making her Asylum debut will be Miss Trixie Holiday.

Trixie is an accomplished and captivating vintage, jazz and swing singer with a magnificent voice. She is sure to conjure up the perfect atmosphere for a truly memorable sixth DecoDance at AXV.

Next up we will be welcoming back to Asylum the incomparable Kitten von Mew.
Kitten is britain's leading 1940's pinup model as well as being an accomplished singer and performer.
Kitten regulalrly entertains at WWII events, Blitz Balls and the like in the UK and abroad. She has appeared in countless magazines, in film and on TV.

If you are not already familiar with Kitten you can find out much more about her on her website www.kittenvonmew.com
We are thrilled to be having Kitten back to play at Asylum, especially at DecoDance for the very first time.

And finally, headlining DecoDance at AXV will be Alice Strange. This will be Alice's third appearance at DecoDance and we can't wait to have her back.
Alice has established herself as one of the most popular artists in the steampunk world in recent years. She always puts on a magnificant performance and her style is perfectly suited to the world of DecoDance.
You can expect some of Alice's original songs mixed with brilliant covers of other well known songs. As you can see from the image below, Alice has a history of getting the DecoDance audience very much on their feet!

If you want to find out more about Dieslpunk and the DecoDance, there is a page devoted to just that on the website here - but don't forget to come back to this page to follow the link to buy tickets.
The Asylum Variety Show
Lincoln Arts Centre
doors 7 pm | event start 7:30 pm | event end 11 pm
age 11+
fully seated
ticket price £24

This will be the first time Weekend at the Asylum has held an evening event at The Lincoln Arts Centre (LAC), and what better event to hold there than an all-new Asylum Variety Show? You will find LAC right next door to the Engine Shed, in the lower part of Lincoln.
The variety show will include a host of acts, including The Cogkneys, The Brass Brothers, Lord Arthur Foot III and Mark Simpson. Word has it that the old rogue himself, Major Thaddeus Tinker, will make an appearance and he might just have a few more acts up his sleeve that even the rest of the Ministry of Steampunk don't know about yet.

If you keep an eye on this page over the coming weeks you might just spot a few more acts listed, although the Major does like to keep his powder dry and you might not find out the whole line-up until the evening itself.

Important note
Please note that tickets to the Asylum Variety Show are being sold by LAC themselves (this is so that you can choose your seats when you book). There are therefore two 'buy ticket' links on this page. One takes you to the booking site for DecoDance and all the other events where the MoS are selling tickets and the other one will take you to the LAC booking site to buy tickets for the Variety Show.
